In an isolated sound off Vancouver Island, British Columbia, is the only kelp farm outside of Asia. It is in these sparkling clean waters that the kelp used by Vita-Kelp Enterprises grows.

The farm is run by a leading kelp expert, marine biologist and botanist, a PhD scientist with over 35 years experience. Using harvest techniques adopted from Japan, the farm has been cultivating wild kelp as a food source since 1978.

Sunlight and clean cold water are vitally important to the quality of the kelp grown. The isolated growing conditions of Vita-Kelp's source provide an ideal environment, remarkably free from pollution.

In a unique working agreement with Vita-Kelp Enterprises Inc., this superior quality seaweed is made available for its unique nutritional and medicinal properties in the MegaKelpTM product line.
